# Königin des Himmels

Die [Mutter](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/mutter/) des Erlösers, eine Jungfrau, ist [auch](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/auch/) die Königin des Himmels.   
Das Glaubenskonzept, dass die jungfräuliche [Mutter](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/mutter/) des „Gottessohns“ die Königin des Himmels ist, geht dem [Christentum](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/christentum/) mindestens 2.000 Jahre voraus. Es findet sich in nicht weniger als vier (4) anderen Religionen neben dem [Christentum](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/christentum/).   
Weder der Mythos noch der Titel „Königin des Himmels“ sind einzigartig im [Christentum](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/christentum/). Bezeichnenderweise beinhalteten alle Religionen, die den Titel „Königin des Himmels“ feierten, Aspekte derselben Göttin der Fruchtbarkeit, des Geschlechts und des Krieges / der [Macht](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/macht/), deren Tempel und Nekropole auf dem Vatikanhügel in [Rom](http://cloud-zma.gleeze.com/catholicencyclopedia/glossary/rom/) einer der wichtigsten in der Antike war.
