# Österreich: Staatsflaggen

Die meisten Landesflaggen in Österreich basieren auf den örtlichen Wappen. In vielen Fällen existierten sie bereits vor ihrer offiziellen Adoption.

BURGENLAND  
Die Farben der 1971 offiziell gehissten Flagge basieren auf dem roten Adler und dem gelben Wappenschild.

CARINTHIA  
Die 1946 eingeführten Farben leiten sich von denen Österreichs und dem gelben Staatswappen ab.

NIEDERÖSTERREICH  
Die 1954 eingeführten Farben basieren auf dem Wappen, das ein blaues Schild und fünf goldene Adler enthält.

SALZBURG  
Die 1921 eingeführte Flagge verwendet die traditionellen Farben des Staates, die auf den Nationalfarben basieren.

STYRIA  
Das Wappen der Steiermark ist ein grüner Schild mit einem weißen Löwen. Die 1960 eingeführte Flagge verwendet diese Farben.

TYROL  
Die zweifarbige Flagge leitet sich vom Wappen ab, das einen roten Adler auf einer weißen Scheibe darstellt. Es wurde 1945 angenommen.

OBERÖSTERREICH  
Die 1949 eingeführte Flagge Oberösterreichs ist von den Landesfarben und dem Landeswappen abgeleitet.

VIENNA  
Die Flagge stammt aus dem Jahr 1946. Sie orientiert sich am Wappen der Stadt, ist jedoch identisch mit den Flaggen von Salzburg und Vorarlberg.

VORARLBERG  
Wie die Flaggen von Salzburg und Wien orientiert sich auch die zweifarbige Flagge Vorarlbergs an den Landeswappen.
