# Social Law (Sozialrecht)

Das Sozialrecht ist in Deutschland ein Bereich des öffentlichen Rechts, der den Staat verpflichtet, der Bevölkerung Unterstützung und Leistungen zu gewähren und so soziale Wohlfahrt, Gerechtigkeit und Gleichheit zu fördern. Diese Gesetze sind im Sozialgesetzbuch (SGB) und anderswo definiert.
